As someone who drives back and forth from Abilene and Austin, I figured I'd finally try this restaurant. I was sat down quickly. The chips & salsa are deliciously addicting. For my entree I got the Monterrey Dinner which came with two tacos and a side of rice & beans. The tortilla of the tacos are fried which makes them crispy. They are filled with juicy fajita steak, avocado, sour cream, pico, lettuce, and cheese. Very good and well worth the $8.99. The service was great and I left highly satisfied with my visit.
Amazing Mexican food for being in such a small town. Huge portions and the prices are cheap! Been here a couple times and I always leave satisfied.
Horrible food and crappy attitude of staff. Food was barely cooked. Over medium eggs had runny whites. The spicey potatoes had a good taste but the center of the potato was cold, not room temperature but cold. The pancake was raw batter in the center and not warm enough to melt butter. When reported to cashier, she just said sorry and shrugged it off. When husband told staff that cook needed to make sure food was cooked, they just all looked away and said nothing. Would not recommend or return.
My daughter was visiting from out of state and wanted mexican food. I'm not a fan so while she had her mexican food I ordered a hamburger - it came raw! I said something as I paid and was told not to order a hamburger at a mexican restaurant. I wonder why they have it on the menu. Wont be back.
I enjoyed my breakfast, cook knows how to fix the eggs over medium (whites done and yoke runny), spicy potatoes, sausage and toast. Service was fast and waitress was very polite. Reasonable price.
